No Matter Who You Are, You Will Serve Someone

I want to challenge you to look around you and ask yourself, what’s important to you.  If you decide to take me up on this little challenge, I think you will find yourself pleasantly surprised.

That said, I believe, if you do so, you will find this to be true: No matter how hard people cling to the belief that they, alone determine their own destiny, in the final analysis, they will find that everybody is subject to servanthood to someone or something else.

What is servanthood? Servanthood is strictly a biblical term. In today’s world, there is no such thing as servanthood apart from a person who is paid to be the servant of a man’s household. So, according to the common dictionary of our times, there is no such thing as servanthood.

Given the above scenario, is this definition acceptable to you? At the present time, do you have enough information available to you and assimilated to answer the question validly? If, you are a practicing Christian, the answer to this question is “yes”.  If you are not a practicing Christian, I would say it behooves you to become one and then begin the journey to answer this most important question.  You see, the answer to this question will unlock the location of the most hidden treasure of all times – from ancient to present to future, and onward to eternity.

So, what are you waiting for? Don’t you want to be rich in the sincerest way? To answer this question, allow me to ask another question: What do you believe is the most important concept for you to own and understand? What if I told you that the answer to this question would define your life and the quality of your life forever? Well, it will.

You see, the most important concept for you to understand and own, is the concept of “faith in God”. Faith in God is the knowledge and belief that there is a God, and His name is God. He made you and me for His glory alone.  You are created in His image.  He alone created you and because He is God, He loves you more than anything He ever created or ever will create.  Remember this: "we are all His children, "a royal Priesthood by virtue of our faith", Because you are created in His image, the evidence will point you to an unmistakable fact – that you were created to serve God and His children.

Most people live their lives haphazardly. They know that there is something out there that will make them happy but due to the nature of daily life, a great many, if not most people find, at the end of their lives that that which they sought only lead to heartache and a great deal of disappointment.
